The Stichting Erfgoed Fundaasje/Heritage Foundation-Frysk and Frij has 2023-2025 stalls about more than 125 years of private potato trade following the establishment of the Trading House Hettema in 1898 at Beetgum, in 1999 HZPC – after the merger with former arch rival Z.P.C. -, starting in 2023 Royal HZPC Group. The Heritage Foundation has contributed to the anniversary book of HZPC and the obtaining of the royal resignation of the multinational in 2023.
In addition there are fitrines with heritage from other potato company’s, like Braaksma, Cultura, Fobek, Runia-Van der Schaaf, Westra, Zijlstra, etc.
Furtheron the origins of the potato trade from small potato cultivation are incisively depicted.
